Can you tell me, are you happy with him? This is going to be about a 4 hr. drive in each direction for me. I have a friend going with to drive for me, but even riding is awful.
I have waited 2 years to see a lyme Dr. You would think I would be happy, but after I got the appointment, all I could do is cry. It's like I have no control over my emotions. I don't know if it's tears of FINALLY, or if it's tears of TOTAL FEAR.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, someone tell me he's good and that he's not just going to write me off, like most of the regular doctors have. Tell me he is going to fix this.

july,
i think you made the right decision!!
i don't know of only 1 case where someone wasn't helped and she'd have lyme for DECADES!
i think you got info from me, and their is a member's email in that you can write too; hundreds have been helped by him!!
when i had to go out of state, i wasn't looking forward to it either but took interstate all the way to where i was going ... limited 2-way pavements.
just remember, REMISSION is your goal, and this is the 1st step ok!
i got to not minding when we had to go.
i made sure i had all my frozen ice packs in an ICED COOLER and switched them often for my pain.
cover your skin so you are not burnt including gloves. and glad you have a friend going.

Isn't that the one we were defending a few years ago by sending emails to the attorney general of Wisc? He had a good reputation.

Thanks Betty for the suggestions. Pam, I wasn't aware he had been investigated. Thank God it didn't stop him from seeing or treating lymies.
Hopefully, I will get more responses with the subject edit. Thanks again.

july,
dr. h was sent a letter; wisc. activists organized well and nothing more came out of it at all. they hit them hard with emails, faxes, phone calls, and newspaper articles!
you can find posts about it in activism using search.
