Ouch!
Sorry to say that I would have a cardiologist look at it asap.
I have chest pain and back pain.
Sometimes over the left side, sometimes right.
However, I've had a nuclear stress test done and know my problem isn't my heart.
Hope you get to feeling better soon.
Hugs,

That sounds very similar to my very first symptom that I started going to the doctor for on my five year search for "what is wrong with me".
With that said, I did have to go through extensive heart testing, all the way to a heart catherization. Not sure that would always be necessary, but I guess they didn't like something in an earlier test.
Still though, they told me it was NOT my heart, so it must be anxiety. Symptoms started progressing rapidly from there, but yes, the chest pain in the left side and then in hind sight, much of the back pain was in the trigger point areas that I was told was "Myofacial pain syndrome".
But yes, you may want to atleast get it checked out. It will help you sleep better knowing it isn't your heart. Good luck and keep us posted.

I had a similar problem. My LLMD suspects it is the nerves in my ribcage. My pain was better at night, worse mid day.
You can't mess around with chest pain though. Get it checked and then at least you know it is not your heart.
