I also test positive for those two strains of bart, as well as myco. But not lyme.
When I looked over the bart symptom list, sure enough all the stuff that I was experiencing was on the list.
It's certainly possible for a person to have contracted more than one strain, especially if they live in a highly endemic area. The weird part is not having lyme to go along with it.
My testing was through MDL. I tested neg. for everything through quest and labcorp. I responded to abx, but my tummy wouldn't tolerate the abx no matter how good I was with the diet.
Hope that helps. kp

bart quintana is otherwise known as trench fever, and was observed in soldiers who fought in the trenches in the world wars.
Outside of the war theater, it has been observed in homeless persons with alchoholism., in both the US and europe.
Although I fit into neither of those categories, I have done outreach work with mentally ill, homeless alcoholics/addicts.
But even given that, it is still more likely that I caught this particular little bug in my own backyard, given the other bugs I've managed to catch as well.
Take care, kp

Kelmo, most people who have Babesia usually also have Lyme.
It's more possible to have Bart alone, but for those with Babs, there's a HUGE possibility that you have Lyme. Those two usually are together, from what I've read in the Schaller books.
I've never tested positive for Lyme either. I think you and your daughter only ever show up with 41, right or a couple others? Same here.

If you have high load of bart you will not be able to see LYME ...yes where is babesia is lyme too.
My daughter had ONLY band 39 by IGENEX...BUT when muscle tested showed LYME AND bart. She is herxing and treating them BOTH.
Only bart came up as positive but CD 57 very low...I was not going to be based on the test as I am full of it...spenting several times money to just get a positive..it aint worthit...I use muscle testing from 2Doctors.1 is my LLMD!!!
