so many variables ... i feel like a science experiment
anyway, was on doryx/artemisinin/grapefruit seed extract was not making any progress towards feeling better
switched to azithromycin/tindamax/diflucan
also taking vitamin D and zinc as well as topical hormone/adrenal support cremes
i'm starting to feel that i am MORE fatigued than i was at the beginning of the month
***?
i also take cymbalta for previous depression/anxiety issues the dosage on this was increased at around the same time cymbalta can make you fatigued but i would think it would have hit me long before now if it were the cymbalta
as far as my monthly cycle, it is not a time when i would normally be feeling extra fatigue (i have to keep close track because of the hormones i am on)
now my understanding is that tindamax is a cyst busting agent, and azithromycin treats lyme in it's blobby form (not cyst, not spirochete, always forget what it's called), and diflucan is believed to inhibit reproduction of b. burgdorferi
when i started taking the zith, i had a couple of days feeling crappy and having intense diarrhea i don't know if this was start up side fx or herx
my concern is that i am not taking anything that addresses the spirochete form of b. burgdorferi, and that maybe i am feeling crappy because i've come around on the life cycle of the SOB's where the spirochetes are active and there is nothing to keep them in check
the other thing i am thinking is that i need some kind of detox, because i just feel sketchy, it might sound crazy, but i feel like i am weighed down by a bunch of toxins and need a good cleansing
but i don't know anything abt detoxing, and what if any risks outweigh any potential benefits
i suppose also the other thing could be my diet my other half does all the food/cooking, and i try to be sugar/gluten/carb/dairy free, but we're not religious abt it. idk how much affect this has on anything
would appreciate any insight on any of this it never fails that i wind up feeling more craptacular on a holiday weekend when my doc is out of reach
thanks for reading
