Hi - I did a search here and only found one reference to this.

I experienced this a long time ago, maybe 13 years. It happened quickly and was very frightening. I did not recognize anyone at a family dinner except for my husband. Not even my children who were 5 and 3 at the time. Did not know why we were gathered at a table (it was a holiday dinner). Memory slowly came back, and I (not one who likes going to the ER) mentioned the incident to my neuro at the next visit(at the time was living with the MS dx).

Anyway (sorry this is getting long) today my sis who I have been nagging to get tested for TBD's had a similar exp. She is in the hospital and so far all her tests are coming back NEG.

I have done a search here and other sites and cannot find any data on a connection between lyme and TGA's. Does anyone have any info?

If there is a connection I want to pass it onto her daughter, who may get her to go for some testing with an LLMD.

thanks

Thanks Carol, I will forward this to her. I am not sure if she is taking any statin meds. I know that I was not when it happened to me. I was just wondering if anyone else thinks it could be a lyme connection.
