Hi-my new neuro wants me to do a whole new round of lyme tests. I had positive WB in 2005 and still not well. I told him I couldn't afford all of these again through Iginex and asked why he wanted them done ( because I thought once you have lyme, it's always "there" antibodies wise.?) So he told me it is too see if lyme isstill there and active. Is this correct? Would new tests show anything different..I just thought they really didn't, so can someone please explain?
Thank you

You need an LLMD, as your neuro's got it all wrong; once you get Lyme, although the bacteria themselves are always going to be there, antibodies may not.
