Both of my knees have been giving me trouble. I especially have trouble going up and down stairs, getting out of the car, etc.(pain and stiffness). The pain is there except for when I get off my feet. I woke up today and my right knee is very swollen. I have been on azith and omnicef for about two months and the knee issues are getting worse. I need to make an appointment with an ortho doc to have this looked into.
I had gastro issues ( swelling, gas, bloated, etc), but those have almost completely cleared.
Does anyone else have serious knee problems?

Do these symptoms sound like lyme or bart to you?

I still have doubts that I have either or both since I never had the same symptoms as my husband.

After a few months of mino my knees were so bad I had to get a wheelchair for the airport on my 2nd trip to the LLMD.

Knee problems are common with lyme. The spirochetes seem to like the knees. When on treatment, the bugs will die in the tissues because that is where they live (in the tissues). Dead bugs in the tissues cause inflammation. Inflammation causes symptoms.

Sounds like the meds are working. Try increasing toxin support to get the toxins out faster.
