I took Lyrica for a good while. At first I took it 3x a day, but it made me so out of it. It helped some with the pain, but nothing gets completely rid of it. Finally I ended up just taking it at night with xanax because it helped me sleep. I just recently stopped taking it.

It worked for me but I had suicidal thoughts and that can be a side effect of Lyrica.

Be careful.

A neuro I saw said it made all her patients very fat. I guess it's a benefit vs. risk scenario. She didn't comment on it's overall effectiveness.

didn't tolerate it. Loopy for the day even at the lowest dose 25mg. I gave it up after 2 days and felt out of it for a few more.

I was having a terrible time with insomnia, and the Lyrica has been good for that. I wake up and don't feel drugged.

I haven't gained any weight, I take 150mg at night.

I notice that my pain is reduced, but I'm usually asleep pretty soon after it takes affect.

This seems like a repeat.

It helps me sleep but makes me depressed the next day.

So yes and no.

I was taking 25 mg. for the longest time but recently upped it to 50 mg. due to increased pain. I take it at bedtime to help me sleep.

No side effects that I can tell. It can cause you to gain weight, but that would be a good thing for me!
