My stomach is a mess everything feels like it's going down hill I am losing strength and now I am back in my wheelchair... I can't walk I am losing so much strength I can't even sit up. The pain is getting to be unbarable and I had over 6 seizures yesterday and ended up in the ER. What do I push for? Any treatment suggestions? I cannot go on rocephine because I went hepatitis from it. My stomach is horrible I feel as though I am going to vomit all the time. I wish I had answers.
I also have a port.

Hi Victoria,
You poor thing!
I am so sorry to hear you are in such discomfort.
The best thing you can do is call your doctor right away, especially because of the seizures.
Little things might help like increasing your probiotics, (VSL#3)for stomach pain, or adding supplements like Vitamin B for energy, etc. but I will still hesitate to take anything without checking with your doctor first.
There are also anti-nausea medicines that could make you feel a tad more comfortable, but it sounds like you need immediate medical attention.
Maybe there will be other posters that can offer some good advice too.
Wishing you relief real soon!!

I agree with VSL#3, and who is your doctor? Dr. L and Dr. R in NY are extremely competent.
It sounds to me that co-infection testing and or evaluation by a competent physician is a must, and that your stomach needs healing.
Add Nexium to the routine temporarily, then incorporate VSL#3 later. Since it's so bad, start with the actual packets and then move onto the capsules once you feel better.
Consider IV Vancomycin and IV Doxycycline combined with IM Bicillin would be extremely vicious in attacking Lyme Disease. If Bartonella or other Mycoplama like infections are suspected, IV Levaquin would be useful further into treatment. You can also pulse the IV Vancomycin if need be.
If your case is severe and life threatening, and other options aren't available, this would be a winning combination.
