Hi I would like to know if anyone has ever been lymes free after only 3 to 4 weeks of antibiotics? Even if they have had lymes for over a year. Is there a possibility ?, that the 3 to 4 weeks of docyclin could do the trick?? Please advise I am new and I wanted to know. All and any responses are welcome

Thanks so much Sharvin

I guess anything is possible, but I haven't heard of this happening, not after a year of being ill. That would be considered Chronic LD and much harder to get rid of.

If you find the treatment to do that, PLEASE let me know. [Smile] I'd be grateful!

sorry Sharvin I haven't heard of anyone if they had lyme for a year before getting treated w/ doxy.

Doesn't mean if by some miracle or strong immune system it could never happen. Just that I've never met a person who was fortunate to be cured after that.

I've met people who tested positive for lyme by Western Blot who are/were assymptomatic. (no symptoms)
