Some of you may remember me ... I haven't posted in quite a while. I have been well now for 4 years and involved in a lot of family issues and moving etc. etc. I was bit in 98 and was treated and ill up to 03. I am symptomatic again and tested Positive on the Elisa Index=1.17 and the Western Blot IGM: 41,28 IGG 41,18 and 39. I am in the process of looking for a specialist in my area. My GP says post lyme but not an active infection. Also EBV positive. Thanks for any input. God Bless Theresa

Hi Theresa,

If you are symptomatic and testing positive it is NOT post lyme....no such thing in my opinion.

You are having a relapse (sorry) and need to start treating again.

I don't know if you treated with a LLMD in the past or not, but it is good that you are loking for a specialist now ( lyme literate Doctor).

Your GP's opinion is typical of the MISINFORMED.
Ditch him if he/she is not wiling to at least support you.

Good Luck,
Feelfit

Your GP is being either irrational or unethical. You need
a Lyme-literate doc.
