I found this article. Anyone hear of vestibular neuritis? This article has good links and such. Thought I would pass it on and see what you all think.

Yeah, I love the great illustrations at Dr. Hain's site. It really brings to light the intricate design of the ear system.
It's important to mention a caution with one of the treatments listed at this link: " Steroids (prednisone, methylprednisolone or decadron) are also used for some cases. . . ."
Some ENTs will do a steroid drip along with orals. This is not advised for lyme patients.
Remember that steroid use with lyme can make lyme blossom and create a treatment nightmare. Steroids - of all types - are to be avoided (unless life-threatening and then with special abx dose).
As many different things (and types of infections) can cause similar vestibular symptoms, there are special tests and diagnostic tools that the ear specialists use to determine what is going on. Treatment can be quite different, depending upon the cause.
For this link, they mention a herpes virus. Any number of bacteria and viruses can affect the ear nerves (and lyme is know for that, too).
However, you might ask your doctor about an anti-viral medicine - or to first run a test for the Herpes family, especially HHV-6 and HHV-7. Many lyme patients also deal with those.
Allicin and Andrographis each have a triad of antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal qualities. You can cross search that at PubMed if you like:
I would encourage EVERY person who has received a lyme diagnosis to get the following tests.
This is because (1) you may really have a different pathogen causing your problem besides lyme, and it would be good to find that out.
(2) Lyme (as well as other pathogens) can cause the immune system to malfunction, allowing other pathogens to reactive. Thus you may be fighting lyme and other pathogens. This is what happened to me.
It really helps to get a thorough evaluation...then treat what is most obviously wrong.

Balance problems can also be caused by Mold/s. It is one of the major mold symptoms.

Didn't sleep at all last night. Kept feeling like I was falling. Today I feel like I am leaning to the left. The dizziness is constant. I see my LMD in a couple hours.
Im scared at this point!
