Or is it too much stress on the elimination system at one time?

I have this urge to go on a parasite cleanse, but don't want to overload my liver and intestines since I am already "detoxing" so many lyme critters.

I will check with my LLMD, but would love input from out there first. Thanks!

Mazou

Yes!!

I continue to have parasite issues but when they are under control I feel so much better and I feel certain that I make more progess with lyme treatment because my immune system isn't fighting a parasitic infection.

I believe that parasites and worms are a Major part of Lyme disease.

I didn't start to make any significant progress until I went after the parasites.

Check out www.lymephotos.com This is exactly what came pouring out of me and many other people.

Your instincts are right on the money, don't ignore them.

Your instinct not to overload your system is good, too. This need not be done in a blast. I personally cringe when I even see the word "cleanse" anymore as some can be far too harsh and I am one of the few voices strongly against taking lots of olive oil and lemon (as is one popular "cleanse").

While you might take some bulking agents to get stuff moving on out (flax seed meal works great with lots of water) . . . and a colonic or enema now and then might help. As for other measures, it can take time.

Many do see improvement, though, when addressing this issue in a measured and consistent approach. I think it is important.

If you look up andrographis, you will see that it has many "features" (for lack of the exact word I want). That might be a good one to consider. Allicin, too. Even raw garlic cloves - but go slowly.

You might do a search here for "Klinghardt" - within the past couple weeks there is a new protocol posted. The previous one discussed parasite meds - specific pharmaceuticals and supplements.

www.rain-tree.com is also a good place to look.

Andrographis is discussed in both Singleton's book "The Lyme Disease Solution" and in Buhner's "Healing Lyme."

You can also learn more about it at PubMed.

PubMed Search:

Andrographis - 220 abstracts

Andrographis, parasites - 5 abstracts

Allicin- 288 abstracts

Thanks, Terry, that makes a lot of sense. And glm, what horrible photos!! Those creatures came out of you? May I ask how? You can PM if it's too embarrassing.

Thanks, Keebler. I am so happy with the information you provided; I will look into the products. After a quick look, andrographis looks really interesting.

Thanks again, everyone, for your helpful replies.
