I am on month 5 and am only noticing the difference now although my herx's were all Neuro. I will remain on it as my baseline drug until I am well.
I use oral AB's with it cycling between babesia and bart meds

No, only 4 weeks the first time. Switched to orals at that point.
After relapse, restarted IV. I was on it for 1 year the second time around, Much slower recovery after relapse.
Stopped IV rocephine after 1 year, relapsed again in 3 months, had doxy IV next. On that one for 6 months. Some things go better some much worse.
Switched to carbapenem IV, improved rapidly, on it for 6 months then declined again. Switched back to rocephine for 6 months then to bicillan.
In all 5 year on and off IV. 8 PIC lines (and scars on arms to prove it.
Off drugs now since april.
Don't let this scare you. I know a lot of people that got better after only 4 weeks of IV.
