I was just wondering if you experienced a low grade fever with Lyme. It seems to come and go but it makes me feel so crappy. Usually comes about this time of day.
Is this common?

I have had low grade fevers for at least 10 years. It usually happens in the late afternoon. If you feel bad at this time of day, take a nap. Napping really helps if at all possible.

I seem to have body aches pretty bad at this time too. All of my symptoms are much worse in the afternoon and evening.

I had a low grade fever for the first few years. I normally don't take my temp, but in 05 I went to a doc for a physical, they asked if I felt ok, because I had a fever. Then end of 06, at a different doctors, the same thing happened. So I may still get fevers, I'm just used to them now!
When I was on the road to getting diagnosed the Doctor asked me if I got a lot of fevers, I said no! She said would you know if you had a fever? I said of course I would!
She asked how I felt that day and if I felt feverish at all, I said I felt like crap that's why I'm here! But no I don't feel feverish. She said well you have a fever of 101.8 right now.
Ha ha ha! She was very nice though and she was actually the one that diagnosed with Lyme.

I ran a low grade fever for about fifteen years. It only stopped when my thyroid problems began. Then I had a low temp, around 97.
My temp would average from 99.8 to 100.8. A couple of times it was around 101.

Low grade fever common?
Yes, usually after 4 pm and into the evening - in several articles, lyme researchers say this if frequently seen with chronic lyme.
It's actually the best time to test for any infection - if you can beat the lab deadline for prep and for Fed Ex pickup.
