This is a very common symptom. With treatment, it will improve.
Yes, I have this, too. It comes and goes.
Have you noticed if it is worse under fluorescent lights? Track what makes is worse and try to change what you can in your environment to lessen over stimulation.
As well, as I'm sure you've read Dr. Burrascano's treatment guidelines and Singleton's book "The Lyme Disease Solution" you have zero aspartame/Nutrasweet/Equal in your diet - even in gums or mints. That is neurotoxic and can cause slurred speech.
Same with MSG in all its forms (you can google for that).
Elevated metals, too, can contribute to this.
What can help: Gotu Kola may as it can help brain function and it helps cleanse the blood, too.
Fish oil is very good, too. Just a couple hints.
Cranial-sacral therapy might help, too. (Gentle, not snap 'n crack!).

I slur occasionally and also walk into walls. I don't drink, but I feel like I do!

I get the slurring of the words when my right side facial swelling and palsy acts up! It seems to also effect my tounge and therfore I slurr my words! My mom and my pharmacist are the first ones to notice it when it happens! It is very frustrating and embarassing!!!
It seems to come and go as Dizzy Up says! I hate this symptom probably one of my worst! I try to fight it so hard and when it is obvious I just tell people in advance that I am slurring my words!
Take care, Onmyway

I get this the worst when I'm tired. It was one of the symptoms that started my doctors thinking I might have MS.
My eye floaters also seem much worse when I'm tired, but it doesn't make sense that they would be. I wonder if I just notice it more then.
At any rate, the word slurring AND eye floaters have gotten better with treatment.
