Was just wondering how many people have gotten low blood pressure from tbi?

I noticed after treating mine i feel much better and my body seems to filter toxins better.

I am wondering if this is a coincidence?

There was a post about this before -- people were seeing who here had the lowest blood pressure. [Razz]

Mine's always really low. 80/40 - 90/50 or so. Usually doesn't go much higher than that.

My blood pressure was varying degrees of low for awhile (years) but it is normal now. [Smile]

i saw this in a post awhile ago...and i was glad..because my husbands pressure has been so low and i was worried...but when you are in treatment its ok to be low...his is around 90 over 60 for now...see this site is so good you learn all this stuf

My lowest was 50 over 32. I have a very wide pulse pressure (the distance between). Like 100 over 50. Or 80 over 35. There is something very strange about that, too.

Yes--chronically low.

MP site says that low blood pressure resolves with treatment, according to reports from people on that program.

I have low body temp also, although it's been around 98.1 to 98.3 fairly often in the last two months. Before, it was almost always 97.8 or below.

I've had NMH/POTS for decades. I compensated for it unknowingly for years. Now I need meds to be functional. It is improving with treatment, though.

My LLMD uses the ANSAR testing to monitor my changes.

Mine has been low for years. When I would go to the doctor, he would say "are you ok? do you feel like you are going to pass out?"

I would always say "no I'm fine" just thinking that it was normal for me to have low blood pressure. This has been for YEARS.

It is strange because my blood pressure is low although my heart races. Strange.

Me too! Often mine is in the 85/50 or when it's really bad in the 80/45 range. Sometimes it's 90/60. I have really bad orthostatic intolerance/POTS too.

I did not realize this was yet another Lyme symptom. Thanks for posting this.

Some CFIDS patients do saline IVs and feel better afterward (temporary boost in blood volume, hence increase in pressure)or drink water with salt and potassium salt mixed in to bring up the pressure -- I have found both helpful at times but the effects don't last.
