I am stopping Flagyl in one week and willbe on nothing until I see mr LLMD,Feb 13.
Do you think this is normal?
My major complaints right now are:- elbow, shoulders (especially right). Pounding noise in head, brain fog and aches and pains.
I am going to the Bahamas on Tue,which always make me feel better.
Thanks for any info. Atheana

I too am taking a break from meds for one month, yet I am not symptom free, however I think you have to get meds out of your system to know how you truly feel and can then reacess to see how you need to treat.
Well at least this is the way my LLMD works. I have mixed feelings about it, like yes my body can take a greatly needed break from meds, and then again I have the fear of letting this go and possibly feeling worse by the time I finally go back to see him.

that's a pretty long break if you are having symptoms and are not having trouble taking abx....gut intolerance, severe herxes, etc..
Are you seeing tampa?

Borrelia is slow growing (28 day cycle), it's the co-infections that flare shortly after going off abx.
Clearing the toxins out can help clear some symptoms. After a few weeks off abx, my arm pain that had been bothering me for years went away and has not returned.
