I did a CD 57 test and got a 56 but it was from Quest and done on a Friday so not sure if accurate? My White blood count has been low for two years 3.3-3.8. I was told it's the candida making my immune system low. The symptoms I have are constipation, Chronic tension headaches (TMJ), no period due to low hormone levels, low thyroid, always tired, slight depression and anxiety. I went to a Rheumatologist becuase I tested positive on my RNA and ANA, she says I have mixed connective tissue disease (form of autoimmune disease). I have an appontment with LLMD but it will be awhile. In the meantime, I'm wondering if it's really lyme? Does anyone else have these symptoms?

Yes, those symptoms can all be due to Lyme. Keep reading here - there's a lot to learn!

Get a Western Blot done so you don't have to guess as much.

UP....

Good advice but, make sure it's not,,,I REPEAT...NOT from quest or labcorp....

(although they used to send there lyme tests to IGENIX they don't any longer) as far as I know,

they try to do it at their own facilities which don't seem to be adequate for "our" or the CDC's purposes....

But yes....one of the things that I was misdiagnosed with is

"connective tissue" disease which no one knows what causes same.

Not a lady but there are thyroid issues but your white blood count does'nt match mine durring my search...

it was always around 10 to 13 which probably does'nt mean squat due to your supposed RA diagnosis....

were you positive for the RA blood test? HLAB27 I think is the correct test for RA....mine was negative....

my testosterone is low and my metabolism is wayyyy slower and gastro problems....

are also a problem....the depression and anxiety could also be from NOT KNOWING what it is you're

suffering from or it could be lyme or just about any other chronic infection.

Vectors of different kinds as well as ticks pass on co-infections of many and varied kinds...

some not even classified yet....such as 10 of the 13 species of Babesiosis....

Betty gives good advice in her newbie stuff....

and you can always search...

but yes a western blot....

I suggest being "DRAWN FOR IT" whenever your monthly comes around....

no not your menstral cycle(unless like some ladies your MC is at the same time as your symptom flare up,....

what I mean is, your possible lyme flareup or more correctly your "SYMPTOM FLAREUP",which does

occurs monthly.....cuz I don't give a hoot what the ducks say....

there IS a monthly... and SIX MONTH CYCLICAL FLARE UP... with tick borne illnesses.

GO FIND OUT AND COME ON BACK!

YOU, don't have to wait for the llmd's appointment,

if you had a bullseye rash or if you saw the tick or are in an endemic area....

Also you can email IGENIX and get a KIT for testing...

and just have your regular doctor prescribe or sign the doggone directions for the test thru

IGENIX LABS ....or STONEY BROOKE...
