Can someone describe exactly what they experience with air hunger? I know sometimes people can mistake anxiety for air hunger. Many people also breath too shallow and basically hyperventilate. Everyone should be taking deep breaths through the day.
I do remember when falling asleep at night, I would start gasping for air for a few seconds, then it would pass. Is that it?
Thanks.

Yep, all of those descriptions are right- it can look like a panic attack or asthma I think.
I also experience a need to yawn some days- and there's no satisfaction in the yawning. It seems to be linked to nausea for me at times.

I've had that intense need to yawn for no reason for many years. I sometimes wonder if I've had Babesia 10+ years. As you say, I never got any satisfaction from the yawning.

I thought it was more about gasping for air but I guess it can be subtle?
