THIS IS SIMPLE and NEW and for Newbies for the most part so far.

YES Lots to add and I will work on this as i have time.

For now.. As a new person it took me awhile to even find the major Lyme Sites for information as well as the Support Forums and Chat.

That was my main Goal

The rest is icing on the cake. And i will someday make it more detailed for those who are more in depth users ..

THANKS for looking

Deb

http://lymeresources.weebly.com/

If anyone wants to send me a new TOPIC and supporting links I will add it to the site.

And I would LOVE help in building this up if anyone has time to do it. But just throwing single links right now will probably just overwhelm me. So be kind..
LOL

DEB

Okay, Deb,

I want whatever you're taking for energy to do this. This is a great idea. If I come across new info for you I will let you know.

One thing I had thought of was to post an entertainment video site. It would be for people to be able to see cute, funny videos.

Also some good music and just other things we come across to be able to relax and enjoy. Kinda like the videos I sent to you.

What do you think?I just think we all need a break now and then,

Hi Deb,

Thanks for posting that. That was sweet of you. I hope no one is offended by Boomerang. [Smile]

I was also thinking of all different kinds of videos like Patches The Horse.....911 funny stuff....neat music videos etc. Just food for thought.

If you want to do an entertainment site for Lymies let me know and I will look for more.

Also the idea is for anyone having cool and entertaining videos to be able to add to this.

Dare I say.> A helper??
: )

I actually only want to grab the list of the broadest sites and link pages and bring them into one place.. More so than..create a huge and detailed site of my own.

That is posing to be harder than I though as to where to draw a line

But.. and well. if it does not get used.. I only spent a day so far.. really.

IF anyone would like to help out. Great.
If not Great.

I got some sort of motivational push in the middle of the night last night and could not sleep and was tired of my book marks and moving around various sites and links ..

And . well.. some like Lyme Info are great already as they are..
And though some new people may just be starting and it could help them?

D
Again though. There are so many.. I am sure they will find what they are looking for.

Nice Website Deb and the lists that you have started will help Newbies. So does the packages Betty G & Treepatrol has for Newbies (I see you've already included those, as well as the help we get from Keebler, Melanie and so many others.

At a glance - the only thing I noticed was the spelling for Marshall which you can wordsmith at your convenience.

One thing that I really like...I can email your website and it provides more than enough information to the 100+ that I stay in touch with via email.

Thank you for the time you took to create this and for the Yummy Sunshine colored background...sort of looks like an Arizona sunset.

Smiles, Grace

Hi Deb!

You've really done a lot since we talked earlier this afternoon; a tornado hit and you really went to town.

More feedback for you on your site ok:
*************************************

1. can fond be changed to ARIAL vs. whatever you are using; it's like timesnewroman to me and wordsruntogether like this for me?

2. on sites you show, etc; can they be shown ALPHABETICALly as it takes awhile to go thru looking for specific sites?

I have no idea how much time it takes to show alphabetically vs. how you are currently showing things.

3. On your title page, it starts out in one size font, and then goes smaller. Was that your intent? If not, I like the fonts to remain same size for us LOW vision folks.

4. When I looked at the links on the left, they normally will change colors so you know which ones you just viewed vs. the ones you still want to look at; yours didn't? Any idea why??

5. Books to read; click on LDA'S icon from lymenet and you can check their book list. I don't know if they have all the current 08 books or not.

OUTSTANDING WORK HERE DEB! As I stated earlier, you are one ambitious woman with a drive to help all lyme patients she comes in contact with.

Thanks for joining lymenet and sharing your ideas, wisdom, and things you find important!! xox

I added the joke page.

Yeah. a bit tired.

But I have to say.. THe art pages and the poems and such that I found have touched me tonight

Take a look when you a chance.

I featured a couple art peices on the front too now

WOW> I am so impressed and would love to be able to start some artwork projects in the group. Amazing.
And there are poems to go along with the paintings.

Then some other art and drawing and poetry sites from children and adults of lyme.

And Gale gave me some great funny videos to laugh at and I found a couple related to lyme that are funny too..

Maybe we need some switch in brain wave activity here and think of some other avenues but still related.

I hope some do enjoy..

Yes after one day> I did get pretty far and I am sure I have to slow it down.

Any links or site anyone wants to add.. Just go ahead and put them here. I will keep looking on and off

Night NIght.

Congratulations on your new endeavor!

American Lyme Disease Foundation (ALDF) is AKA the bad guys. They do not believe in chronic lyme disease. I wouldn't give them the satisfaction of having their link on any website.

Keep up the good work.

Hi Deb - your mailbox is full (gee - wonder why), so I'll post here.

In Resources, please eliminate the link for LymeTimes and California Lyme Disease Association as you currently have them, and link them to the website www.lymedisease.org.

That is CALDA's website and everything is there. Still a good idea to make a parenthesis comment next to California Lyme Disease Association that they publish the quarterly Lyme Times magazine.

Hi Robin..

I am a bit unsure..
You want me to just link them both to the ONe same place??
Or just use one site of the California Lymes Disease Association and use the ( ) for the Times comment..

Thus.. delete the Times link?

Is that right?
Sorry.
I trying to make sure to hear what you want for sure.

Deb

just pushing this up as I don't want to lose it or miss any comments. I forget waaaay too much, too easy!!!!

I have been trying to read on differant links to try to understand what upset DebAz so horribly!! It has taken me a few hours at a time with naps in between; I don't want to comment on something that I don't know about.

BUT, the only thing that I can say is that she has been a WONDERFUL, SWEET PERSON TO ME WITH A LOT OF MUCH APPRECIATED SUPPORT!

I really pray that she comes back!!
