I've just read the new guidelines per Dr. B about Reishi and Cordeyceps and would like to try a good brand but the Pharmanex is way too expensive.

I've just been using vitacost maitake and cordeyceps but am concerned with quality.

Any other good companies with quality mushrooms at a reasonable cost?

I take the Zhang Cordyceps. You can buy at: www.hepapro.com

Our LLMD specifically told me to buy this brand and to take 1 capsule 3x/day.

Thanks!! Directions say take 6 a day which is a 15 day supply so glad it will last a little longer!

LOL the SH was **. As well as the IT. I can't help the way its spelled. But they doooo work.

Pinelady thanks for your advice. I was told not eat mushrooms because of candida? I thought pill form would be different somehow.

Mandy, I do think taking the cordyceps is different from eating mushrooms. But given your candida issues, you might to first ask the LLMD.

Or you could start a new thread asking how cordyceps affect candida?

Medical mushrooms are fine to use, even for someone with candida. In fact, they are helpful to support immune function to fight infections.

Cordyceps is definitely recommended for lyme patients. I find it very helpful.

In addition, there are some other fabulous medical mushrooms. Lion's Mane is just one (it's scientific name starts with an "h") - it has been helpful for many "MS" patients for neuro support.

They have amazing products and they are worth the price. You can buy on websites for a discount, too.

I was afraid of them for years before I learned more about them and how they don't feed candida.

If only they were in the budget right now.
