My LLMD Doc took me off Ceftin while I await to be Retested,
I was on Ceftin for about 1.5 weeks only,
I then called him and asked to be tested for all coinfections...
So asked me to stop the medicine and to take abreak before I get retested...
But right after i stopped, seems I Now Have a Cold or a Flu.
Or are these Lyme signs which popped right up which were triggered by a very short course of Antibiotics ???
Is this normal or a good / bad sign ?
I am sneezing, my feet are cold and my nose is running...
???

If you get retested for coinfecitons, will it be at one of the specialty labs? As I recall your previous tests were from Labcorp.
Is your doctor an ILADS-educated LLMD? Tests are not everything. A seasoned LLMD should be able to do a clinical evaluation with tests to go along. A good LLMD would also know the best labs that test and the most specific tests.
Good luck with this.

As for symptoms, sounds like a cold, especially with sneezing and runny nose.
i dont believe he is an ilads member but he specializes in tick borne illnesses or so is the name of the center where he treats...
it is dr s. at tick borne center in west cester pa. (and does accept my insurance plan but it is so expensive)
i just am truly depressed and tired of this chasing game of what infections i may or may not have, let alone the long term results in treating possibly the wrong ones.
this just seems like a journey i was not prepared for.
and sleeping all day as well as ringing in the ears does not help at all.
and reading my blood work that my hhv6 levels are now high, ebv is high, and cd57 is low, with only one band preent 23 of lyme, is also a question, what does all that mean ?
oh and the doc that im seeing uses mdl labs.
(the other tests a few months ago were done by both labcorp and mdl)
best regards, eric

Gosh Eric I hope you feel better.
I think it could be the season?
I have been taking all I can in the area of things that usually help me against colds and such..
But.> i seem to keep battling them from coming on .. no matter what.. more than ever... during this last month..
There are so many considerations.
Let me know how your tests come out.
