Anybody know why they're contradicted? I just started Rifampin yesterday but would like to take a couple of Diflucan a week to keep the yeast at bay....

According to drugs.com's drug interaction checker, Rifampin may decrease the levels of Diflucan.

I was on Rifampin and was also prescribed Diflucan 3x/week.

I take them both. Not really a contraindication though. You may just not get the expected effect.
