Ultrasound, tens unit and acupuncture have all helped many patients feel better. Just don't overdo it. If you feel wired or too tired afterward, that may have been too much.
The Bahamas can't hurt, either. Just watch out for too much sun. Wearing a shirt outdoors, even while in the water, can help protect your skin.
I assume you are not on doxy as that requires more protection. Even if you are not on doxy, many antibiotics can make you more sensitive to sun - for weeks after stopping them, even.
