When you take IV antibiotics, do you have to insert a PICC line or can you be stuck everytime you go in? Thanks

The picc line was better for me, it stayed in throughout the treatment.

You can do either/or, it really depends on your LLMD and his preferences though.

I had to get a mid-line because they couldn't get a PICC line in, but I am careful with it and haven't had any problems at all. It's really gone quite smoothly.
Good luck. So far it's been the easiest part.
