I started taking Biaxin about a week ago. I now have a place on my cheek about the size of a silver dollar that is "puffing out". I still have control of this side of my face with no problems...just the very odd isolated area of swelling.
Any ideas or thoughts about this?
Thank you, Will

No clue. Call doctor or pharmacist.

Sounds like it might possibly be a blocked salivary gland.
In other words, it may not have anything to do with lyme disease or Biaxin.
Might want to check with a dentist if it doesn't go away on its own. You can also read up on this on the Internet and see if you can get rid of it yourself.
I have a friend whose jaw area on one side of the face in front of the ear got so swollen she looked like she had mumps. It was the salivary gland.

Up.
I know there is a Standard Process product for this, but I can't think of the name.
Any more help here?
