After finding a toad in my bed.. (post in general section) then having some sickness hit the other night that reminded me of food poisoning... which I had years ago...

I was researching to see how I could have gotten salmonella possibly.. IF that is what it was??

Check this out.. and do note.. to be fair to the orange juice industry... this was years ago. But I thought it was weird.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/208476.stm

I also learned the sugar free coconut candy I ate before getting sick DOES have a peanut warning on it. So I will keep researching.

So watch out for all foods containing peanuts.. even when least expected and in stuff you wouldn't think it would be in.

Check this list of recalls, TC. You will be shocked at the name brands of product items that are contaminated.

Yes.. and reading the list also reminded me I also ate a Kellogg's Special K fruit snack bar between the soup and the Russell Stover Candy that day.

It isn't on that list YET.. but the list keeps growing. So do beware.

Thanks for reposting this site.

Good timing.

BTW- The post/email I sent out the other day said to keep a bottle of Pepto Bismol on hand.

It said to take it every hour on the hour at the first sign of getting sick.

I researched that info in detail... and sent that info to a hundred or more folks.. and was sure I had some Pepto on hand here..

And not till THIS minute did I remember that is what I should have done!

DUH ME!!!!

Thanks for asking.

I am 1/2 way better today (nothing to sing about) but had a REALLY bad night that night.. and 2 really bad days from this stuff.

NOT fun. Vomiting, stomach pains, sweating, horrible.

So thanks again for the warning tutu. Hope others read it.
