I have two humps - one on either side - on a couple of my nails. Just came within the last few months and have no idea why. It's not bothersome - just another oddity.

You may want to look into nail fungus. That's how they start. Do some googling and you may even find some pictures. The don't look like much early on, but get to be quite ugly if not treated and/or the body not cleaned up with regard to fungi/mold.

You should try rubbing some Venex bee venom ointment or ozonated olive oil onto the area and see if it starts going away. There's a possibility that they could be gummas, lumps that can occur in spirochetal illnesses such as syphilis, so possibly Lyme.

My daughter has a lump at the base of her right forefinger. LLMD says it is leaking cartilage and related to Bartonella. Maybe yours could be too. Marla
