i hae been off the flagyl for 3 days now. the headache is beginning to ease somewhat. however, when i do have it, i get very very bad swelling in the temple, right in front of the ear.

it's like a vein that runs from the top of my ear to the front towards my face. you can actually feel the swelling with your fingertips.

and of course, the bp goes skyhigh.

it gets really scary because the pain is so severe.

hopefully it will go away. but i'm thinking it was the flagyl.

im very sick so please forgive my errors.

i would see ur dr. as soon as u can. is it still swollen? u can develop temporal arteritis, meaning inflamation of ur artery.

this would explain ur bp being high. please contact ur dr. if u have to wait for call back; please go to reg. dr. for evaluation and so it is documented.

im sorry ur dealing with this and i pray it gets better quickly

I agree.

Please call your doc asap.

High blood pressure coupled with swelling of the arteries,

Can lead to some pretty bad things.

Hugs,

Geneal
