I am about to start Rifampin, i know to watch for the colored urine, tears and contact problems.

Anything else to watch for?

I am combining with Amoxycillin.

Thank you,
Feelfit

I had h/a for a week or so then they cleared.

I also had shooting pains in my hands and transient bug bite feelings that were really annoying for a while but could have been the Doxy and then those have cleared.

Rifampin has been the best for my Bart symptoms. It has resolved most of my rage, anger, anxiety, and maybe has improved my memory a bit.

Rifampin was really helping with my bart symptoms. I was on it for, I think, about six weeks.

I had to stop taking it because--and this totally is weird--it made my already keen sense of smell REALLY STRONG.

I could smell everything. I could smell people twenty feet away. They smelled of, well, human. And it was really unpleasant.

My husband couldn't sit next to me, even right after a shower. The "human" scent was just too much.

It made just going to the grocery store a complete sensory assult.

I finally couldn't take it anymore and my LLMD switched my meds.

Run a Hepatic Panel for your liver, and get one "before" you take the medicine, and then one week after you've been taking it. Do not start multiple medications at once.

I've been on it the past four months and it has been fantastic for me with no side effects.
