What is the Most Effective way to deal With Chronic Fatigue ???

Lack of energy, always feel tired and sleepy, no desire to do anything at all, and depressed.

I have one band 23 lyme present and very high numbers of HHV6 and EBV.

Anyone know ?

Thank You.

Best regards,
Eric

If you want to help your fatigue- maybe B-12 shots would do the trick. At least maybe help some?

If you want to treat the viruses... Valtrex is sometimes recommended.

But Lyme and coinfection treatment would help too.

I have been on Valcyte but I'm still fatigued. I've also have had problems with thyroid. Make sure you get that checked also. Good Luck!

hi tincup,

im just not sure if im treating the right thing, the one band of lyme or the viruses which i am not doing anything about,
maybe i should be treating them instead... ???

maybe its also a combination of a depression offset by all ???

but i know its not normal...

hi lymeloco,

the more i rest the more it seems i am tired and achy all over...

(hope that makes sense)

what to do and what type of test ?

all my friends and family says to just get out of the house, breathe fresh air and to start doing things, but...

Have your thyroid and your adrenal functions tested. Have your adrenal function over a 24 hour period measured with saliva tests. You can also have an am blood draw for cortisol. Thyroid tests are blood draws.

Sometimes extreme fatigue is a result of Lyme treatment. I remember I was too weak to get a shirt out of the closet. So, if you have started treatment recently, things may improve soon.

Getting out is not a bad idea. I have always been grateful that I had kids to keep me moving, hard as it was. There were times when they wanted to go to the beach, and I was lying down feeling unable to move. I got up and went with great difficulty, but I always felt better than I would have if I had stayed in the house.

I don't know why. It may just be a matter of distraction.

Hormone levels: Tyroid, Testosterone, Adrenal Glands, and begin Valcyte. Check all vitamin levels for deficiency, including Magnesium, Vitamin D, and B12.

There is much more, but this is the foundation.

Exercise saves my butt!

I will have more intense pain afterwards, but if I choose NOT to move my body it just gets worse.

Everyday, no matter what.
I use it to beat back the depression, but I'm more physically sick when I don't keep things moving.

Definitely have your RBC or mononuclear magnesium levels checked...serum isn't an accurate measure of mag levels in the bone and tissue....Also, as stated previously have your vitamin D levels checked....

If you're deficient in mag or D, it can cause profound fatigue....
