When I saw that article JAMA published, I concluded that medicine was totally corrupt. There may still be some honest doctors, but the journals, the govt health agencies, the professional medical societies, and the medical "establishment" in general cannot be trusted. They do not care about the public or public health.

I agree. The medical industry as a whole does not care about the well being of the public. Instead medicine has turned into a greedy industry where the health of others is not even considered. The greed of the pharma companies and medical societies and our own government has taken over and left those of us that are ill to suffer the consequences.

The bottom line I see in article after article by medical journals, physicians, etc. is complete despise for Lyme patients. We're the scum of the Earth in 99% of regular people's eyes. How very sad and disheartening.

The worst part is this is not even a disease you get by doing anything immoral by society's standards.
