I witnessed augmentin allow kill of CWD lyme when combined with high dose of ceftin, and a study in france showed c-amox when combined with vitually any penn or ceftin from a clinical standpoint appeared to be much more effective. The augmentin dose didnt need to be high either, I used about 1/2 the normal dose.

The clavic acid in augmentin seems to do some magic I just wanted to point out.

I dont mean to go on and on here but I am telling you augmentin is awesome when combined with the ceftins. Its hard to tolerate at the normal dose...so lower it until you can handle it I suggest...then ramp it up.

AUGMENTIN or CO-AMOX overseas is actually the first drug combo using an actual Efflux Pump Inhibitor. This is the very first EPI abx in reality.

It however does not appear to improve on ampicllin effectiveness...but, theres another CO-drug combo that improves amps effectiveness as well.

I thought Tigecycline's big deal was that it had a built-in efflux pump inhibitor. I had no idea there was an oral med that did. Thanks,

Jill
