It has been suggested that I take magnesium to help calm the body.
I bought 250mg tablets, and took 1 earlier and havn't noticed any calming.
Anyone know how much to take to get the effect. I don't want to zonk myself out as I already have chronic fatigue.
Thanks in advance,
Shannon

One 250mg tablet will get you nowhere.
Go for smaller doses (like 50mg), taken every couple hours. Your body cannot absorb 250mg, and most will end up getting 'flushed' away.
If you really are low (you can get a Red Blood Count mag level test by LabCorp), and IV would be much more effective in getting into your cells.

Be aware Magnesium can cause diarrehea in large doses...your body will tell you when you take too much of it.

I take magnesium IM shots. I noticed a reduction in neuropathy. I also have babeisa which causes rigid red bloods cells that clump, and magnesium helps soften cell membrains and separate clumped cells. I think magnesium should be given to anyone with chronic babesia.
