Hello folks,
I've been on Malarone (6 pills) + Zith for WA-1 Babesia for 4 weeks - been feeling quite good so far. I've been reading 'Lyme Disease Solution' by Dr. Anderson and he recommends taking a week-long malarone vacation after 4 weeks. Thought I'd give it a try - stopped the Malarone after week 4 (still on Zith) - it is day 2 and I'm feeling real bad. I've been popping a multi-vitamin (no iron), alpha lipoic acid and Coq10 these last 2 days. I'm not sure if I should go back to the malarone or just stick it out assuming it is a herx(?) I am grateful for any advice.

Thanks,
GL

If it were me I'd get back on the Malarone. I've tried to be really stringent about my babesia meds b/c apparently it can become resistant fairly quickly. I wouldn't start and stop them for this reason...
