I would like to know this too. I have been treating aggreively for ages now and can not seem to get this eye an brain inflammation down. I fel like just going after the inflammation at this point with steroids in order to get some relief.

Whilst on a full antibiotic regimine of course for cover. Anyone have experience with this?

the steroids turn down your immune system

the inflammation created by immune system action is reduced

with less inflammation, you feel less pain

your immune system doesn't attack the infection with the ferocity it previously had

the infection multiplies / spreads

You feel fantasic for a brief period and then crash with such incredible proportions that it's physically and emotionally devastating.
