Yes, I read about this. I don't know...? I'd have to research it further if I had a condition that this would help.

I can't see that having a parasite would be helpful but I'd like to have an open mind about things. In any case, the parasite is one day going to die or expel waste materials. I don't see how this can be healthy.

I think everyone has parasites, not just lymies. Some ppl have to take something to get rid of them; but I would imagine that sooner or later they pass on through in most cases. If not doctors would treat us for them or find them in stool samples, etc.

My son had them as a toddler and he was very ill, had constant diarea; they were found in his stool and he was treated and was fine.

Some ppl are very into the parasite thing and worms too; and maybe with due reason. Obviously a few have gotten very ill from them; but I would say most don't.

I don't think about parasites one way or another! They aren't a problem for me so far.

Most people have parasites. The symptoms can be very close to Lyme symptoms. Sutherngirl, Sorry your toddler had parasites, but he could have gotten them in utero which means you would also have them. You can also be infected with eggs just changing a diaper.

You might want to give it more serious consideration for yourself. Usually when one family member has them, it is suggested that the whole family be treated. To the original post, my 2 cents is that this is just a REAL DUMB idea.

In my studies for putting together a public lecture about parasites the estimate for BOTH North + South America was that 85% of the population has them.

MDs know so little about paras it is very sad.
