Hi everyone,

I started tinidazole approx 3-4 weeks ago and have been undergoing a little bit of a herx in the last couple of weeks.

Is it normal to get aching/almost burning muscles in the back of your legs? Its new for me. I've also been experiencing muscle twitches and jerks (twitching normal, jerks new).

Thanks

Kelly

Hi Kelly,
I get sore muscles in my legs/calves. It feels like I exercised vigorously the day before when I haven't. Or like someone beat me with a baseball bat.

Once I could hardly walk my legs were so sore. I just hobbled along.

Take care,
Ocean

I definitely think so, along with aching joints, increased ringing in the ears, just about any symptom you've had gets worse.
