My symptoms get much worse on heavy foggy or rainy days. I'm like a walking weather report. My brain fog triples, and I have full body aches and pains.

I am experimenting with ways to snap out of it on these kinds of days. Since I have seen a few other weather-related posts on this board, I would love to hear of any suggestions.

I am trying:

caffeine
lots of water
exercise and breathing techniques

all to no avail... yet.

mazou, I would recommend a short tanning session in a tanning salon. Tanning beds warm you to the bone (like a hot bath), which will help the aches and pains.

It is recommended by some physical therapists for arthritic patients. Tan only to get pinkness on skin. Pinkness to skin increases endorphins that are the bodies natural pain killers.

Also just like sunny days, a short session in a tanning bed seems to make the world brighter both mentally and physically.

I too am much effected by the barometic pressure. I hate fronts. Cold fronts, warm fronts, rain, wind storms, snow, sleet, it doesn't matter to my body.

Yesterday with the full moon and a windy, windy storm cold front moving through, I ached from head to toe. I'm going to the YMCA today for arthritic exercise class in heated pool.

I need a tanning bed visit and a massage also today, that's how whipped up on I feel.

Pam

That's a really good idea! I never thought of something like that. I remember I always feel good after a sauna, so this might work.

You should also look into homeopathic medicine. A homeopath would recommend a remedy based on

what YOUR unique picture is...what makes you feel better, worse, how you sleep, what foods you crave...

I have seen it work wonders for my children in
acute situations (earaches, colds, vomiting,

broken bones, asthma attacks) and also for myself when I am feeling under the weather.

off topic...I must not have lyme because I actually have a hard time reading posts with the extra spacing [Smile]

Me too! I can't follow the lines with too much space. But I can't follow them the other way either.

Thanks for the recommendation. I saw a really great homeopath in my city a few years ago. He sat and listened to me ramble for an hour!

Mazou just be sure U aren't on any 'cyclines!!!
(ie: doxy or tetra) You'll burn to a Crisp!

Otherwise, a nice professional massage, w/ warm stones is nice, too. [Wink]

I'm sorry I didn't think about the abx with tanning bed. I was off abx for so many years and it just slipped my mind to mention....

abx and sun or tanning beds is a big no no.
