Just curious to hear what other protocols are being used for young children and what their testing, diagnoses are....
My kids are on the following:
4 year old boy (twin 1): mepron, azith, artemisinin, bactrim (tested positive for babs, bart quintana and henselae, lyme, fry labs smear - hemobart or myco)
4 year old boy (twin 2): Mepron, omnicef (couldn't tolerate azith), artemisinin, bactrim (tested positive for lyme, abnormal ANA, Fry labs smear - hemobart or myco, clinical diagnosis of bart and babs)
2 year old girl: azithromycin, bactrim (clinical diagnosis lyme, IgG antibodies (1:250) bart henselea, Fry labs smear - hemobart or myco)
Thanks for your input. Can you also tell me if your protocol worked or is working and if other protocols didn't work for your child?
My son was on Amoxcy 3000 mg with Probencid and Zithro 500 mg and Plaq. 200 mg (along with the usual pro-biotics and supplements).
Now he is on Rifampin and the others mentioned and discontinued the Amoxy and Probencid.
He is 11 and has been in treatments since last May. He has made huge improvements and the LLMD's were going to take him off abx but wanted to treat the Bart as he had a pos. test for that.
Hope that helps or PM me.

She is taking zith, Mepron, and doxy right now. She did seem to improve on this for about 4 months. She has relapsed a bit and we will hopefully be changing her meds this week after getting test results back.
She tested positive for Lyme and Bart, negative so far for babs. Dr. J is trying to cover all bases with this protocol.
We've been treating for a year and she is still too sick to go to school or play with friends, so nothing is working too well for us.

My 6 year old son is on Zithromax and Bactrim.
He is being treated for Lyme and Bart per PCR pos at 2 years old with symptom flair up now. He was also treated at 2.
Hope this helps.

My 14 year old started on Mepron, Bactrim, Tetracycline in Sept 08. Improved but hit a plateau in Jan 09.
Swapped Doryx for Tetracycline and dropped Bactrim in Jan of 09. Today we swapped Malarone for Mepron. Seeing slow, but steady improvement in Babs and Bart symptoms over the past 5+ months.
Let's here it for the kids!
And a group hug for all the weary parents
Best Wishes to all for improving health!
