Are you taking L-Glutamine, pharmacutical grade only, powder?
That might help repair the lining faster. That is what it is for.
I'm sorry I don't know how long it will take.
Wild Condor may be able to help. She unfortunately had a bad go around with this stuff.

Also..
This will sound stupid. Mostly because it is so simple... but maybe worth a try. But Pepto Bismal's active ingredient (bismuth) is reported to kill organisms in the gut.
If I get bad I take a few 1/2 doses for a day or two... with a lot of water.. and it has always worked for me.

H. Pylori often requires two complete courses of antibiotics - many gastroenterologists say this.
Mastic gum, which is a supplement you can buy from the health food store, is used by alternative practitioners specifically for h. pylori but also for GI problems in general. It is helped me many times.
Even one of the top Lyme docs that I've seen was impressed when I said I healed two months of terrible GI pain with reflex prescription medication, aloe vera juice and mastic gum. Even my internist (mainstream) has heard of mastic gum and approves.
I, too, use L-Glutamine from time to time for leaky gut issues or other GI issues, but don't stay on it too long because I have seizure-like activities and neurotransmitter problems, and there is a theory that L-Glutamine can affect glutamate which can cause problems for some Lyme, ALS and Parkinson's patients.

I got no help from two courses of maximum dosage of Mastic gum, but I hear it works wonders for some people. I do not have H. Pylori or an ulcer, and I've mostly heard it is used for ulcers.
I do the "six for six" Pepto Bismol tx to kill borrelia in my gut and it really helps. Every six weeks, I take P. bismol for six days. I put this on my calendar so I won't forget. I also take it, if really needed, inbetween those times.
I have a precancerous metaplasia in my stomach and a strong family history of stomach cancer. I've been taking 2,500 mgs. of L-glutamine powder in water on an empty stomach every morning for two years now to try and get rid of it.
I am having an Endoscopy of my stomach and small bowel on March 30, and if the L-glutamine actually got rid of the metaplasia, I will post about it. Metalpasia almost never reverses itself, but L-glutamine was my only chance. Conventional medicine had nothing for me.

Drinking Kefir which you can find at the natural food store. I was not a firm believer on this yogurt-y drink until I began to develop inter colitis from the doxycycline. I recognized these painful symptoms (because I was almost on my deathbed before) and I drank it and felt so much better. I was also taking Theralac but that didn't seem to work after a while, this wasn't even strong enough.

Probiotics, and lots of them. You need to get your gutt flora balance to favor the good bacteria vs the Hpylori.. Id suggest lots of probiotic capsules, plus, real yogurt with raw pineapple, and bland food for a few weeks (dry toast, crackers, applesause, bananas, rice)...and see if that calms down your stomache pains.
