I thought some of you may find this interesting.

Enteroviruses may cause Type 1 Diabetes (T1D).

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/03/090305141635.htm

A few quotes from those two studies:

"This suggests a model where normal immune activation caused by enterovirus infection and mediated by IFIH1 protein stimulates autoimmunity that eventually leads to T1D."

"the findings of this new study suggest that vaccination in childhood to prevent enteroviral infections of beta cells might be an attractive means to reduce the incidence of both common forms of diabetes."

I thought the exact same thing. In my opinion, children are already given too many vaccines in a short time frame.

With that being said, the research could potentially lead to the prevention of developing Type 1 diabetes.

The enterovirus expert Dr. John Chia has successfully treated enteroviruses with the herbal compound oxymatrine.

So, I can't help but wonder if it would be safer for children to just take oxymatrine or some other antiviral to kill the virus that may cause Type 1 diabetes rather than to be vaccinated?

thank you very much for this resource!

My husband is a type one diabetic (since he was 10, he is 28 now).

I sent him this article to his e-mail address.

I read about a study a few years ago about a Doc who did autopsies on people with Type one diabetes. They had all had type one diabetes for years. He found that nearly ALL of them had perfectly fine pancreas.

I have a theory that there is much more involved besides the pancreas in diabetes.

I believe the liver is an intregal part of the disease process with diabetes. It does play a rule in insulin release as well. My husband's liver enzymes have been very elevated before (like 1000 times more than normal), his bilirubin has been high and he has had jaundice of the eye whites.

anyhow, thanks again!

Emla,

Thanks for that - and for the researcher's name so that we can search for his work.

Yes, vaccines can cause some serious problems. However, they have also saved many lives.

The key is SAFE vaccines - and also exploring other methods for supporting immune function.

SAFE vaccines are possible. A safe schedule is possible. Jenny McCarthy has been at the forefront of this campaign since her son became autistic from a vaccine. She is not saying, don't do them, but find SAFE methods and slow down the timetable.

This book also discusses the connection between infection and diabetes:

This book is specific to lyme and other chronic stealth infections.

The author discusses the endocrine connection and effects of STRESS on a person with such infections.

Hi,

About 9 years ago a friend of mine(she was in her 50's then) and her son(he was in his early 20's then) both caught a virus and both developed Type 1 diabetes as a result.

Prior to that they were healthy.
