I was getting scared my blood was getting too thick. My veins are all puffy. Now tonight it is just very sore. I think I may need to be on coumadin? Have you guys had to be on it? I have read research that says it enables the drugs to enter the cellular level better. When does it become an emergency. I am one of those who can suffer through, but I don't want to die stoically. Thanks for any thoughts.

not sure about coumadin used as infection tx
adjunct. this is generally for blood thinning
needed in presence of certain cardiac disorders
where clotting is likely (ex:a-fib). I can tell
you that coumadin has to be monitored very
closely and can be dangerous if used without
lots of lab follow up or if not needed. Veins
felling puffy may be some fluid overload (too
much water can be dangerous, salt also causes
swelling) or increased blood pressure issues??
I can relate to episodes of numb/ pain to my
entire arm that lasted most of one day, and
happens freq to my hands as well. For me, this
is related to neruopathy caused by Lyme
hope that may help?
