Yes, it helps. I think olive leaf works better, as does caprylic acid.
With oil of oregano, make sure you get a good quality brand. Gaia herbs is a good one.

I , personally think cumanda is better than the OO but would also like to try Olive leaf extract as I hear wonderful things about it..
I do take 8 drops of oil of oregano a day, and the yeasty beasties still come lurking- so also use cumanda and then give into diflucan or nystatin if it gets out of hand.
Many swear by oil of oregano and the olive leaf extract. The OO packs a punch!

Hi- I was desperate to get rid of my yeast problem - you would know if you had it...tried oil of oregano drops. Very strong stuff I swear it would kill anything. But it gave me intestinal problems -like acid reflux. So I stopped.
The main thing that got rid of my yeast was strengthening my immune system, that, after my Lyme treatment was over, just took time. And then I had some acupuncture and it really helped get my body in balance and the yeast finally left. Oh one last thing - avoid sugar like the plague! Good luck! Julie
