I know a fellow who has arterial vasculitis from unknown cause and they have just done a muscle biopsy.
While I have called him 3 times telling him he should get them to give him antibiotics for lyme disease, he said they tested for lyme disease and was neg.
Funny huh! He is in terrible shape with slurred speech and seizure like disorders, he said he has had to stop the steroids they were treating with.
I told him if it was Lyme it would make it 50% worse!!! I am worried about this man who has this big vasculitis in his brain and no internet. And no cause.
What do I do without looking the fool?

Do you know why they stopped the steroids? Were they making it worse?
Print out some info for him.

Yes, He was working and the steroids shut him down.
Now yesterday I called him to ck on him and they did a muscle biopsy and waiting on results.
His slurred speech is so dramatic and his wife is a nurse and I feel doctors are stupidly milking him
because they do not know the WB can be converted to positive with antibiotics.
You are right I should take the WB explanation to them.
This man wears cammo religiously. Can they not see this?
