I've had the intramuscular injections. I'm not sure if they helped. I had severe neuropathy in my left arm pop up while I was on it, and it hasn't gone away.

I have had both , ivig , two doses in 2008, but that was right before I started Lyme treatment, so put it on hold (too sick to even get there for it, bedridden), and just started weekly Vivaglobin (monday) 3 gms SQ (ouch). I have an IGG subclass II and III deficiency and live with allergies and chronic sinusitis/ sick all the time/ Lyme obviously, right now, after the first SQ GG I am really dealing with a killer headache...
I have a friend who started the SQGG and she developed aseptic meningitis and she had to discontinue hers, she has Lyme too.
What is your diagnosis other than Lyme that you are getting it for? -- Ha - see it in your username
I will keep you posted.. I hope to GOD that it helps me

Hi lostgurl, I'm glad you posted because Vivaglobin is what I want and my doctor can't find a source for it (no pharmacies here carry it). I'm going to PM you to ask you about this!!
I'm allergic/reactive to just about everything, and totally bedridden, so I'm hoping it will help. I read study that found (in CFIDS patients) that it was the *most* helpful for the bedridden patients.
I hope it works for you!!
