Does anybody ever get an itchy bumpy rash at you flex points? Specifically at the hips (the worst spot) at inside of elbows and behind the knees??

I have been treating bart with 300 mg rifampin 2x a day since Nov. The rash started about a month ago but I thought it was from my underwear.

I see LLMD on April 8th and I will show her but thought I'd ask if anyone else has this. Could it be a reaction to the meds after months of treatment? Is it a bart rash???

Me me me!!! Yes I posted a few weeks ago about itchy rash behind my knees. At first I thought maybe it was because I'd shaved a few days ago, but persisted for 4-5 days. Went away and got it back last week.

I don't have it on other joints though, just behind my knee. It seemed to correlate with night sweats for me.

Hope someone has some answers. I forgot to mention it at my appointment, but it was gone at the time.

Take care,
Ocean

Thanks Ocen,

Mine comes and goes throughout the day. The spots on my hips are so itchy I don't even realize I am scratching!

Ths skin in the area is also getting darker...very weird...

The spots behind my knees and elbows are very small...maybe one or two bumps (almost look like mosquito bites).

Would calamine lotion be ok to put on it? Or cortizone cream?
