last year when i first saw the bulls eye rash, i was on abx for 2 weeks...stopped for a couple of weeks.
then back on abx for 3 weeks...stop for another couple of weeks.
then abx again for 5 months totaling 23 weeks. i finished in the end of december.
(this was all because of switching doctors)
i see that treatment is supposed to be thirty weeks (i was 7 weeks short). i recently had a blood test that came back positive...
am i going to have restart another 30 weeks of abx? say it aint so!

It's best to see an ILADS-educated LLMD.
And, sorry to say, but treatment may have to be for many months or up to a couple years. However, that is nothing compared to decades of misery if you don't address this.
No one can say for sure what will be and - your test is not the only thing to go on. How are you feeling? Not well, I suppose or you would not have retested?
When you finished in December had you been feeling very well for a couple of months at that time?
Were you assessed for coinfections?
There are many ways to approach this but be certain that you have an educated LLMD or LL ND (who are ILADS members) guiding you.
You can find a good LLMD by posting in the "seeking doctors" forum. Support Groups links off to your left.
