They taste a little nasty, but give me great energy for at least an hour. The plain is really plain.. for true health freaks only. The chocolate is not so bad.

They offer a noticeable boost as compared to other shakes! Just thought I'd let you know.

I don't think they're too bad. Here's the label info:

chocolate: fiber 12 g, sugar 7 g
plain: fiber 9g, sugar 0.5 g

nutiva's hemp protein is great and sugar free. I blend it with rice milk, carob powder, a few pieces of frozen banana and some stevia. delicious [Smile]

The brand I have gotten is just hemp. nothing is added.

Thanks for this reminder. I need to make a grocery order today and I'd forgotten about hemp. HEMP is truly one of the best foods of the world.

Yes, it's not pleasant, but I just get it down and then eat a healthy snack. I don't even try to dress it up.

There are many brands. And, too bad that hemp is not allowed to be grown in the U.S. because congress can't figure out that, while a cousin to marijuana, there is no way to get high from hemp.

In fact, if U.S. farmers were allowed to grown hemp (or the poppy/drug growers in other countries) . . . so many of societies problems would be greatly reduced.

Hemp can be made into clothes, rope, industrial and building materials.

Hemp is one of the most nutritious foods . . . and by growing these crops, flooding could be prevented by repairing erosion . . . and the air quality would also be improved. As like bamboo, hemp is very good for our air, adding lots of oxygen and taking in bad air, even changing it.

they were saking me what hemp was and i didn't know; both thought it was marijuana. but i read it's a cousin ok.

Yeah, it's in impossible to get high from even all the hemp in the world.

A cousin to marijuana but it's kind of like comparing a Great Dane to a cocker spaniel. Both are dogs, but totally different.
